rishte ke pehle panne par yun laga

ki khushboo teri dosti ki mujhe mahka gayi

panne palatne lage hum, aur..

kuch geet ke shabd hawayon ko chahka gayi

mai aksar sochti..

mere saare ahsaason ka naam, isi 'dosti' shabd me seemit hai

isi shabd me har pal ki khushi, har aansoo ki peeda jeevit hai

jab tum muskuraaye mujhe laga,

dusro ki hansi me hasna??

arre, ye to manavta k lakshan hai..

jab rooth gaye tum, udaas hui mai

laga man kamzor hai, ghayal hone k saksham hai..

jab vartaalap ke lambe arse,yun beete jaise ek lamha tha

samay ka kaanta ghumta gaya, humko khud pe achambha tha

tab bhi mujhe laga..

ye dilchasp vishay ka kamaal hai..

punravritti ki jeevan me, khalipan dur karne k sawaal hai!

jab waqt kam pad gaya dinbhar me,

tab maine khud se hi baatein ki

laga ab to sampoorn hu mai..

nahi, wo baatein bhi tumhari thi

din,mahine ,saal beet gaye

par meri kahani khatam na hui

kyuki uski lekhika mai khud thi

laga,ki kalam me kaaleekh kam na hui

kahani jab aage badhe,

hum ant sochne se darte hai

kehte hai ,'' is pal ko jee lo''

par roz usi me marte hai

inhi muskurahton ke beech ..

dil sirf dosti k lie bekaraar tha

door jaane pe jab aankhen bhar aayi

tab vishwash hua ,wo pyaar tha.

Incomplete

The word means “not yet finished” ; In that sense it can easily be stated that LIFE is incomplete as long as it exists and that very incompleteness actually keeps one alive ; We live LIFE in quest of that completeness actually which can in other words mean the antonym of LIFE (please don’t take all facts as pessimistic statements); Somewhere there is incompleteness of peace , love , brotherhood , honesty , mingling , culture , protest , respect ; On the contrary incompleteness of their antonyms also exists ; If a bucket is kept partially filled with water one man can comment the process of filling it is incomplete while another will say the process of emptying it has not yet been finished hence incomplete ;

Raymond suits and shirts cannot make a man complete because LIFE according to me always runs in an auto shutdown mode ;We can play with all other punctuation marks but fullstop ;

Nota bene :

For the above stated reason some punctuation errors have occurred in my writing ; the fullstops got replaced by “;” after writing ; sorry for any inconvenience caused during reading ,

New Year's Eve

The Year , 2009 has , after offering us a roller coaster ride , has returned to its staring point , from where a new ride christened "2010" is ought to lead off . As far my knowledge of Physics goes , the displacement is zero but that is a pessimistic view . As everything has a brighter side , distance traversed will be obviously non-zero and so will be the experiences gathered during the sojourn - this must be the view of a true optimist. This year I have directed 2 films with immense and indispensable aid from my close friends and derived intense satisfaction from the creation , however small it may be. Now , it's becoming self-centered discussions . So , I would rather stretch the limit to country , at least i.e. what the country has observed through the eyes of its citizens. A global recession did hit INDIA like many other countries of the world resulting in loss of jobs and a scene of extreme hopelessness amongst all sections of the society . AILA did blow off our hats and huts making many of us without a home . Trees fell down like anything failing to resist it but succeeding to cut off power transmitted through overhead lines . But who are we to claim the NATURE ........ extreme weather events are but the extreme protest forms of NATURE to our atrocity of deforestation and polluting NATURE............Global Warming has today made the scientists around the globe rethink about exploiting natural resources to fulfill our needs . Conferences @ Copenhagen are a proof to that but responsible thinking must be developed within every being of the Earth otherwise we have to think whether other planets can be made suitable for human inhabitancy or not . Inflation has made it hard to meet the ends of middle class families and obviously those below that .

Brighter Side(s) : (1) Water found on the surface of Moon . (2) 3 Indians bagged 4 oscars . (3)India based documentary and feature film won oscars . (4) An Indian bagged the NOBEL prize for CHEMISTRY ............and a lot which can't be expressed by words or bought with Master Cards

Let's wish 2010 will multiply the positive part with a positive multiplier(of course) such that it overshadows the negative part , if any .

U-TURN , THE BIGGEST FACULTY FRESHERS in town was born in 2003 and after experiencing 6 long years' life at Jadavpur University it is now 7 yrs old and is set to celebrate it's 7th birthday at U-TURN 2009

This extravaganza is probably the heart throb of all college students of kolkata , to say the least ........students work out innovative plans day and night for a betterment in celebration every year........so its ought to be the best in it's spirit , the way it's carried out....................it's truly filled with sounds of laughter , jubilance , adoration all in proper resonance.......The name itself suggests something about the event.............

The first day will see students (freshers) perform in any and every possible way they can ranging from quizzes to choreography and plays while the second day is kept aside for guest performance .last year it was PRALAY from MUMBAI ................let's see who comes this time
